Group Object

Groups can be used to organize people, content and files into logical clusters. Groups have members of varying roles, and each role has specific permissions.

Fields

id the unique id of this group
groupname the name of the group
description a description of the group
stub url friendly version of the groupname field
type "public" or "private"
userId pointer to the person record of the person who created the group
changeDate date this file was most recently changed
date date this file was uploaded
minutes minutes since the file was uploaded

Relationships

	$members = $group->members();
	$content = $group->content();
	$files = $group->files();
	
	$group->addMember($user);
	$group->removeMember($user);
	$group->changeMemberType($user,'manager');
	$membership_type = $group->isMember($user):
		
	$group->addFile($filename,$file);
	
	$group->addContent($content);
	$group->removeContent($content);

And don't forget, every group object inherits all the functions from the $Obj object. These functions include:
