$Content->files()

Returns a stack of files that have been uploaded and associated with $Content.

Files of any type can be attached to pieces of content. Images are automatically resized to several sizes, as defined in the PeoplePods admin tool.

You can pull this file out of the stack by using the -contains() function:

if ($img = $Content->files()->contains('file_name','img')) {
  $img->write('thumbnail');
} else {
  echo "No image";
}
